Facebook launches its own Cloud Gaming service

Facebook is actively entering Cloud Gaming offering its own version, through its existing applications. Cloud Gaming via Facebook is a built-in service in the application for Android smartphones and tablets, but also through the company’s website.

But Facebook’s proposal has nothing to do with the respective xCloud and Google Stadia services . The new, built-in service will allow its users to play the games advertised directly on its platforms, without the need to download the games. The service will be available completely free of charge, as the collection of games available in Cloud Gaming consists of free games.

According to Facebook, the purpose of the service is not to subscribe to a new service, but for players to be able to play their favorite games directly, without the need to download applications or have good hardware. Currently the games available in the service are:

  • Asphalt 9: Legends
  • Mobile Legends: Adventure
  • PGA TOUR Golf Shootout
  • Solitaire: Arthur’s Tale by Qublix Games
  • WWE SuperCard

Facebook is committed to offering more games in the coming weeks, without knowing which ones. Facebook Cloud Gaming is not currently supported by the App Store mobile apps for iPhone and iPad , as there is a problem with Apple policy. The update will be made available to everyone gradually , while playable game ads will also come, something like an instant demo.
