Through Twitter, Elon Musk assured that at some point he approached Apple to sell Tesla for a tenth of its current value
Elon Musk never misses the opportunity to be present on social networks with different comments, or simply to share moments with his followers. He did so recently by confessing that at some point he approached Apple to sell Tesla , but was rejected.
Through his Twitter account , the 49-year-old tycoon responded to the publication of a user identified as Brett Winton. The comments concerned the alleged electric vehicle that Apple plans to build, and Elon Musk took the opportunity to make the reveal.

The businessman confessed that on one occasion he approached Tim Cook to try to sell Tesla, but the CEO of Apple refused to attend the meeting. Elon Musk pointed out that at that time he was developing the Model 3 project , and his company was going through a complicated stage .
This was not the only surprise, as Musk was willing to part with his company for a tenth of its current value. It was previously disclosed that Apple had approached the magician in 2013 to buy Tesla for a higher value than it cost at the time.
The Model 3 hit the market in 2017 after a series of production difficulties . Finally, Musk’s company managed to recover from the difficult situation until the Tesla vehicle became one of the best-selling luxury cars in America .
For its part, the Cupertino company has turned heads in recent days for its bid to develop its own electric car . The most recent rumors indicate that Apple has everything planned to start production of the vehicle in 2024 with monocell technology in the batteries.
